    Overview: Join us on this all day ride to Mount Lemmon. Please eat breakfast before hand as we will be not eating until lunch at the top of the mountain. This is an all day ride and many different temperature levels so come dress in layers. This ride is a medium to experienced skill level ride do to length and terrain. KSU from DWHD at 8am and your road captain is John Seip.

  5. Ride to Cottonwood

    Overview: Join us on a fun ride up to Cottonwood! The weather should be amazing. Kick Stands Up (KSU) from Desert Wind at 9am. We'll stop in Payson for fuel and a rest after 78 miles of scenic riding up the Beeline highway, then we'll continue on another 72 miles to a nice little Mexican restaurant in Cottonwood called Concho's (highly rated on Yelp) for a delicious lunch. Ride length: 150 miles. Skill level: Medium due to highway speeds and some curvy roads. After arriving at the restaurant this EVHOG ride will officially be over.

    I plan to return home a different way than we came. After lunch, I'm going to get some gas then head over to the 89a and take it through Prescott, then continue on 89 down to the 93 to Wickenburg to fuel up and take a break. Then back down the 60 to the Carefree highway to I-17 to 101 South. Everyone is welcome to join me! Total roundtrip length would be 336 miles or about 7.5 hours (including lunch time) if you decide to go.

    Yuma Baby is about getting to better know your fellow HOG members and meet some new San Diego HOG members, and if you're lucky, maybe meeting your next best friend, or earning a well deserved nickname (like Chef, or the Weatherman or Little Whip)! Come on out, and see what it's about, you will not be disappointed!

    Yuma has some cool sites, short rides to Lake Martinez (some awesome rolling hills) out by the Yuma Proving Grounds, The Territorial Prison, Bobby's Territorial HD, and Lute's Casino where you may be able to watch Irv tear it up on Piano while enjoying one the best Chocolate Milkshakes you've ever had!

    Plenty of dining options within close walking distance (and awesome pizza to be delivered!), no reason to mount the bikes. Saturday night, we will be grilling poolside again! And if all works out, lip sync/karaoke Saturday night after grilling poolside!!!

    Free Buffet Breakfast! We have a block of 10, cut off date is a couple weeks before. The rate whether a King/Jr Suite or Two Queens, is $79/night same as last year. Let them know you are with East Valley HOG, call in to get the rate. There are also occasional web deals, so watch for those.
